You really don’t need a car in Amsterdam, but if you wish to park one you can. Usually it is possible to park close to the house on the canal (pay at meter, € 7,50 per hour).

Alternatively you can park at Parkeergarage keizersgracht or Prins en Keizer. Or the Europarking in the Marnixstraat Q park (a 10 minutes’ walk), 24 hours € 45.

Another option is to park at a transferium and use public transport (obligatory) to reach KG House. For 24 hours, € 1 or € 8. You will need to ensure there is a parking place available – this is not always the case.

Car rental

It is also possible to rent a car. Avis (Marnixstraat) is located closest by (5 min walk), you will need to go a little bit further for Europcar and Hertz (15/20 min walk, located at the Overtoom)

You can reach us by boat and dock your boat on one of the available spots in the canal. You require to obtain a vignet. There are also several harbours nearby.
